Each year, MicroSkills celebrates the accomplishments of low-income, immigrant, and racial minority women who have overcome many challenges to establish their own businesses and increase their economic self-reliance.
The MicroSkills Entrepreneur of the Year Award is presented to four successful graduates of MicroSkills’ Women’s Self Employment Program. But since 2008 this has been changed to three women. Despite many obstacles, these women have successfully realized their dream of starting a business.
