MicroSkills Youth Settlement Program addresses the special needs of newcomer youth 13 to 24 years of age. The program orients youth to their new environment and provides referrals to community services.

The Settlement Program also has regular activities and field trips to give newcomer youth an opportunity to meet other youth and get acquainted with Canadian culture.
Past programs have included field trips to the CN Tower, Wonderland and Center Island; physical and outdoor activities such as skiing, skating and BBQs; and educational ventures to Toronto’s colleges and universities. Programs are free and transportation is provided.
MicroSkills Settlement program works in partnership with our Youth HOST Program, a volunteer-based service that matches settled youth with recent arrivals, to help the newcomers adjust to life in their new country.
